Kintyre Way Relay - The Kintyre Way Relay is a cross-country event held on the first weekend of May for walkers and runners, from Tarbert to Campbeltown along the Kintyre Way, Scotland’s most scenic long-distance path. Carradale Camera Club - Found in 2001 this is the ONLY camera club on the Kintyre peninsul.
Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon and 10k - voted the number ONE Scottish race is 2008 this is one not to be missed! J R MacDonald Photography - Campbeltown's Jamie MacDonald's site is full of stunning wildlife images - a must visit site!
Kintyre Songwriters Festival - Started in 2008 this festival celebrates the rich talent of Kintyre music and song writing. John McFadyen - Campbeltown based freelance photographer specialising in Seascapes, Weddings, Special Occasions and Portraits.
Tarbert Seafood Festival - one of the last remaining seafood festivals within Scotland held on the first weekend of July. West Coast Photos - Gavin Brown website including many beautiful images of Kintyre.

Springbank Evangelical Church - Located in Campbeltown Springbank Evangelical Church began its life in the 1920's when a small group of believers gathered together to worship and witness in the community West Kintyre Medical Fund - The West Kintyre Medical Fund was founded in 2002 by, Dr Norman Gourlay the GP at that time. The purpose of the Fund is to raise funds to purchase medical equipment for the surgery at Muasdale.

Springbank Distillery - Springbank Distillery is unique. It is the oldest independent family owned distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still, the Springbank Distillery is now in the hands of his great great grand son, Hedley G. Wright Machrihanish Dunes Golf Club - When Machrihanish Dunes Golf Club opens in 2009, it will be the first golf course to have been built on a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSi) since the days of Old Tom Morris himself. It will also be the first 18-hole links golf course to be built on the west coast of Scotland in 100 years.
